For example, if you parlay $100 on Dillashaw and Tate both winning their fights, you’ll need both fighters to be victorious to win the parlay bet. Given that you need to be correct on each outcome in the entire bet, parlays are a riskier MMA betting type, but offer greater rewards.

In the example shown below, a $100 bet on a 5 teams parlay could win you a massive $12,596.55. Given the good betting odds, multiple teams parlay can be very profitable. Another cool feature in Americas Cardroom parlay betting is the Multiple Bets. Using the same example of the 5 teams parlay. Among these 5 teams, you can select multiply bets of parlays of 4 teams, 3 teams and/or 2 teams. Use the 3 teams parlay for example, you can form 10 unique 3 teams parlays from the 5 selected teams. Thus giving you “10 parlays of 3 Teams”. If you bet $20 on each parlay of 3 teams, you are risking $200 ($20 X 10 parlays = $200) to win $3,582.14. This parlay betting type has lowered its risk of needing to win all 5 teams, the payout is consequentially much lower as well. You only need 3 or 4 of the teams to win in order to win part of the money. If all of the 5 teams win, you will win the whole amount of $3,582.14.

UFC Betting – Total Rounds (Over/Under Betting)

Total rounds are over/under bets that are based on the number of rounds the fight will last before a winner is declared. If the bookmaker sets the number of rounds at 2.5 and -140 and the fight lasts 3 rounds, you’d win $100 if you bet $140 on over.

Given the small number of rounds in MMA and the different fighting styles of fighters, it’s usually not as easy to pick over/under. If two defensive fighters are fighting, fights will usually last longer and taking over might be a wise pick. If the matchup is two aggressive fighters, betting under could lead to a win.

UFC Betting – Round Betting

Another popular UFC bet you can make is the Round Bet. This bet allows you to wager which round you think the fight will finish. For example, in a three-round fight, you may be able to bet whether the fight will finish in round 1, round 2 or round 3. If you bet that the fight will finish in round 2, you only need the fight to finish within that 5 minutes of round 2 in order to win. It does not matter if it’s by submission, KO, TKO or DQ. It also does not matter which fighter wins; as long as the fight finishes in that particular round, you win your bet.

These bets are great to make if you have a good idea of how you think the fight is going to go. Let’s say you think that two heavyweight fighters are super aggressive and they have the power or skills to stop each other in the first round, then you should place your wager in fight ends in round 1. If you have a prediction on who you think is going to win in round 1, you can add that into your bet. Betting on the winner in a particular round will give you a significantly higher odds. Sometimes, you can even bet on the winner in a particular round with the specify winning method like submission, KO or TKO; This kind of bets generally offer huge odds as it is very hard to hit.

UFC Betting – Winning Method

One bet type unique to MMA fights are bets on how the victor will win the fight. In MMA, there are three victory conditions: knockout, submission, and judge decision (score). For this type of bet, you don’t need to predict which fighter will win, just how the fight will be won. If the odds for a knockout victory are +120 and you bet $100 on knockout, you’d win $120 if Jon Jones knocks out Alexander Gustafsson in the last round.

If the two fighters have a history of lasting the full three or five rounds, it could pay off to bet on a decision victory. If both fighters are strong strikers, a knockout victory could be a wise choice.
